- Every30 minutes a farmer in India commits suicide. Between the years of 1995 and 2013 over 270,000 farmers have committed suicide in India as a result of financial distress.
We at Alva do not want to be a part of this. Therefore, we use 100% organically grown and sourced cotton in our products. The cotton is bought straight from members of the farming cooperative Chetna Organic. The cotton is also Fairtrade certified, enabling us to guarantee fair conditions for our farmers.
